Awards

The Harry Robidoux Award for excellence in Emergency Management. The award is for the County Coordinator who exhibits all that is good and right in Emergency Management. Nominations for this award may be made by any KEMA  member in good standing or any county coordinator. Nominations for this award should be received six weeks prior to the annual meeting. Submissions should be sent to the KEMA area president.

The Paul R. Beatty Partnership Award for cooperation and collaboration in fostering emergency management principles. This award will be presented to a person or organization that exhibits these characteristics. Nominations for this award may be made by the KEMA membership, Regional Task Force Leadership or County Coordinator. Nominations for this award should be received six weeks prior to the annual meeting. Submissions should be made to the KEMA vice president.

The Local Coordinator Award is presented to a KEMA member in good standing and identified as the coordinator of local municipality. The candidate will have demonstrated exemplary performance as indicated by a level of excellence or achievement that is above and beyond what is considered the normal of duties of the candidate. Nominations for this award may be made by any County Coordinator who is a KEMA member in good standing or the candidates elected official.

The deadline for awards nominations is July 30, 2010.
